Technasia Records is an independent record company established in December 1996. It is the first record company based in Hong Kong focusing on the production of undergound electronic dance music. Presently, Technasia is working on joint projects with artists from different cultures and nationalities and endeavours to do so into the future. Being a South East Asian based record label, it is also on a continuous search for artists in the region to join forces and pushing the undergound electronic dance sound in Asia. At the same time Technasia aims to bring to the rest of the world the creativity and talents of South East Asia's own artists.

B2 Daybreak

Sometimes it's better to let other people talk about the music...

MBEAT: "Let the dance floor ignite with this latest installment on the legendary techno label. Gideon fires em up with a set of floor rockin' tracks opening up with the uplifting floor filler “Sunrising”. A tune sure to reek havoc through its hypnotic synth stabs. On the flip the journey continues with the perfect warm up in “Nightfall", and progresses into a dub fueled chugger in “Daybreak".

Beatport: Music Recommendations: Sometimes the most innovative sounds come from off the radar.

In a flurry of output under various aliases, including Alexis Tyrel, Gideon Hommes, G. Hommes, to name a few, Gideon has been honing his sound to capture production as well as essence.

The latest release, ‘All Day All Night’ shows a producer that is indeed primed for the late-night club scene.

‘Sunrising’, the release’s entry cut, sets the tone with a deep party feel that somehow works in either an intimate setting or a big room climate — not an easily accomplished feat.

The depth of sound presented on ‘Nightfall’ falls somewhere between a hard-hitting influence subjugated by the smoothness late 1980s techno. Again, unusual in method but surprisingly accessible in its result.

By the time the bouncy alertness of ‘Daybreak’ starts, the realization hits that the party and all its 14 hours has managed to make it an all-nighter, but here is no place for regrets.
