Pelacha biography

Pelacha is one of the spanish djs with most projection in the International dj panorama . Her passing through known clubs like the Berliner Club Tresor, club Rex in Paris and Awakenings in Holland and many others show that way. Resident and promoter for club One in Madrid (known as Publico and now Pirandello.) From its birth nine years ago the club has become one of the reference points for electronic music in Spain with vanguard and risky programming where each Thursday they make way for some of the best national and International artists. In 2003 the mix cd ¨One, a different club¨ was released and since then has been distributed in many countries. Recently she starts the project Audium club all Saturdays in Madrid (known as Pirandello II).

Her musical quality is presented in sets from beginning to end , complex and intelligent sounds from minimal to Detroit techno her music and rhythm define her style creating a worthy atmosphere for dancing.
Her path started in the beginning of the nineties and from then since till the present day it has passed through the most important clubs and rooms in the Spanish territory like : Fabrik, Macumba, La Real, Octopus, Moog, Blau , Pagoa, Basik, Orosco, Family Jam, Zeus and a very long list more.)

Acting also in festivals like : Interstate, Phrenetic, Electrosplash, Art Futura, Palmeres@Barraca, Techno House Festival, Girasoul Festival, Drum Parade, Mangosto Festival. She’s been resident dj in many of Madrid´s dance halls like : Aire , Consulado, Arena After, Surface and Davai o Electrick.)

On two different occasions her presence has been required for Awakening in Holland, Final City in Slovakia, Hradhouse in the Chech Republic and in clubs like Ambassada Gavioli in Slovenia Cazin in Austria U Club in Slovakia, Anticlub in Eindhoven, Poema in Holland, Zyon and Patronaat also in Holland. Rex Paris, Tresor Berlin and C*C. She’s been a part of the Dj artist roster (AD-booking, Amsterdam) for the last four years.

Other alternatives places where she have played: Hotel Me in Barcelona.

In the beginning of 2009 she have released a vinyl for the Dutch label Lessismore property of Alexis Tyrel (Gideon), Reference number 015 that includes two tracks signed by Pelacha for two remixes (Gideon and MBC). In july Inout Records presents Pelacha debut record for the label, “Nueva Serie” was the new single, reference number 020. That includes one track by Pelacha for two remixes ( Gideon and Javier Orduña) and one track by Pelacha feat Vasco Inspirian.
Recently she put in action the Playground project, a platform for the development for dj producers where you can rent a studio and learn computer, music and harmony skills , even create a ¨Home Studio¨ project at the same time. She has created a digital label for free downloads playgroundlabel.com next to Wavesound, HD Substance, Dj F and Vasco Ispirian.

She’s been a part of the Dj artist roster (AD-booking, Amsterdam) for the last four years, next to Steve Rachmad, Joel Mull, The Advend..Now she also is been a part of Otommo booking (Barcelona), next to Dave Tarrida, Robert Hood, Russ Gabriel, Tony Blunt, Tom Pooks, Superferric, The Youngsters...

During her artistic journey she has shared lineup with artist like Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Sven Vath, Luke Slater, Heiko Laux , Ben Sims, D.Diggler, Magda, Richie Hawtin, Troy Pierce, Tom Clark, Paul Ritch, Dan Ghenacia, Green Velvet, Marco Carola, James Ruskin, Robert Hood, Steve Rachmad, Keny Larkin, Octave One, Oscar Mulero, Cristian Varela, Angel Molina and many more.
She also goes under the name Red Sonja that she uses to submerge herself in other styles like electro, dub house and pure electronic.
